The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.29.29

सर्वतः पर्वताकाराः पतितास्ते सुरारयः ।
विस्फोटिताङ्गचरणा विभिन्नकरबाहवः ॥ २९ ॥

sarvataḥ parvatākārāḥ patitāste surārayaḥ |
visphoṭitāṅgacaraṇā vibhinnakarabāhavaḥ || 29 ||

Thus the enemies of the gods, lay everywhere with their mountainous bodies, all full of scars from head to foot; and maimed in their hands and arms.
