The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रटद्भटास्फोटकटिस्फुटद्भिः समीरितैर्हेतिकलासितौघैः ।
परस्पराघातहतैः पतद्भिर्जगाम शीर्णा दलशो धरित्री ॥ २३ ॥

raṭadbhaṭāsphoṭakaṭisphuṭadbhiḥ samīritairhetikalāsitaughaiḥ |
parasparāghātahataiḥ patadbhirjagāma śīrṇā dalaśo dharitrī || 23 ||

The earth was battered and rent to pieces by the fragments of broken weapons, falling from the waists of the combatants, who assailed one another with their loud shouts.
