The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शैलोपमायुधविघट्टितभूधराणि रक्ताम्बुपूरपरिपूर्णमहार्णवानि ।
दैवासुरेन्द्रशवशैलविरूढकुन्ततालीवनानि ककुभां वदनानि चासन् ॥ १० ॥

śailopamāyudhavighaṭṭitabhūdharāṇi raktāmbupūraparipūrṇamahārṇavāni |
daivāsurendraśavaśailavirūḍhakuntatālīvanāni kakubhāṃ vadanāni cāsan || 10 ||

Big bombs broke the heads of mountains, and the earth became a vast sheet of blood like a sanguine sea. The heaps of dead bodies on both sides, rose as forests to the face of heaven.
