The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.28.4

कंचित्कालं समासाद्य स्वात्मोदयकरं शुभम् ।
चक्रुर्दुन्दुभिनिर्घोषं प्रलयाभ्ररवोपमम् ॥ ४ ॥

kaṃcitkālaṃ samāsādya svātmodayakaraṃ śubham |
cakrurdundubhinirghoṣaṃ pralayābhraravopamam || 4 ||

Having refreshed and invigorated themselves in the course of time, they gave the alarm of their rising, with the beating of their drums, sounding as the peal of the last day.
