The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यदा तेऽत्यज्ञपुरुषाः शम्बरेण विनिर्मिताः ।
वासनामाश्रयिष्यन्ति तदा यास्यन्ति जेयताम् ॥ ३८ ॥

yadā te'tyajñapuruṣāḥ śambareṇa vinirmitāḥ |
vāsanāmāśrayiṣyanti tadā yāsyanti jeyatām || 38 ||

No sooner these ignorant creatures of Sambara, shall have gained their high desires, than they are sure to be foiled by you in their vain attempts.
