The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चेरुः परस्पराघातहतहेतिसमुत्थिताः ।
लोलानलकणाःकल्पविशीर्णा इव तारकाः ॥ ९ ॥

ceruḥ parasparāghātahatahetisamutthitāḥ |
lolānalakaṇāḥkalpaviśīrṇā iva tārakāḥ || 9 ||

The sparks of fire that flew about by the commingled clashing of the weapons, were as the scattered stars of the sky, flying at random on the last day of dissolution.
