The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रेणुः शैलशिलातुल्यहेतिघातास्तभित्तयः ।
कुलाचलतटाभीरुविश्रान्तहरिमण्डलाः ॥ ८ ॥

reṇuḥ śailaśilātulyahetighātāstabhittayaḥ |
kulācalataṭābhīruviśrāntaharimaṇḍalāḥ || 8 ||

The broken weapons of the warriors, fell on mountain tops, and ground them to granules; that fell down as hailstones upon the lions, that had been resting by their sides below.
