The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हस्तं हस्तेन संपीड्य दन्तैर्दन्तान्विचूर्ण्य च ।
अङ्गान्यङ्गैरिवाक्रम्य जयेश्चेन्द्रियशात्रवान् ॥ ५८ ॥

hastaṃ hastena saṃpīḍya dantairdantānvicūrṇya ca |
aṅgānyaṅgairivākramya jayeścendriyaśātravān || 58 ||

With the writhing of your hands and gnashing of your teeth, and twisting of your limbs and body, you must chastise your reprobate members and mind.
