The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नरनारीनटौघानां विरहे दूरगामिनाम् ।
ज्ञेन यात्रेव सुभगा भोगश्रीरवलोक्यते ॥ ४२ ॥

naranārīnaṭaughānāṃ virahe dūragāminām |
jñena yātreva subhagā bhogaśrīravalokyate || 42 ||

The wise man looks upon the separation of his friends and possessions, in the light of the departures (exits), of the visitant men and women and actors and actresses, at the end of a play from the theatre.
