The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.23.29

सुखावहैषा नगरी नित्यं वै विदितात्मनः ।
भोगमोक्षप्रदा चैषा शक्रस्येवामरावती ॥ २९ ॥

sukhāvahaiṣā nagarī nityaṃ vai viditātmanaḥ |
bhogamokṣapradā caiṣā śakrasyevāmarāvatī || 29 ||

This city of the body is pleasant to one, acquainted with his spiritual nature; because he deems it as the paradise of Indra, which is filled with pleasurable fruits, as well as of those of immortality.
