The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शब्दरूपरसस्पर्शगन्धबन्धुश्रियो यतः ।
अनयैव हि लभ्यन्ते तेनेयं ज्ञस्य लाभदा ॥ २१ ॥

śabdarūparasasparśagandhabandhuśriyo yataḥ |
anayaiva hi labhyante teneyaṃ jñasya lābhadā || 21 ||

The possession of the body, is of no disadvantage to the wise man; who can obtain by it, all the objects of his hearing and seeing, of his touch and smelling, and his friends and prosperity.
