The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.21.21

तथा क्रियां तत्फलतां निष्पादयति चादरात् ।
ततस्तमेव चास्वादमनुभूयाशु बध्यते ॥ २१ ॥

tathā kriyāṃ tatphalatāṃ niṣpādayati cādarāt |
tatastameva cāsvādamanubhūyāśu badhyate || 21 ||

And according as the mind does its action, and brings about the result by its assiduity, in like manner does it enjoy the fruition thereof, and enslaves itself to the enjoyment.
