The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दृढनिश्चयवच्चेतो यद्भावयति भूरिशः ।
तत्तां यात्यनलाश्लेषादयःपिण्डोऽग्नितामिव ॥ २ ॥

dṛḍhaniścayavacceto yadbhāvayati bhūriśaḥ |
tattāṃ yātyanalāśleṣādayaḥpiṇḍo'gnitāmiva || 2 ||

Whatever the mind often thinks upon with a strong conviction of its reality, it immediately assumes that form, as the iron-ball becomes ignited by its contact with fire.
