The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

समाक्रान्तेन्द्रियच्छिद्रो यः क्षुब्धो वायुना यदा ।
परिपश्यति तज्जाग्रदित्याहुर्मुनिसत्तमाः ॥ ३४ ॥
samākrāntendriyacchidro yaḥ kṣubdho vāyunā yadā |
paripaśyati tajjāgradityāhurmunisattamāḥ || 34 ||
But when the organs are besieged by outward objects, and the mind is moved by flatulence ([Bengali: vayu] vayu), to their sight and perception, it is called the state of waking.
