The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीराम उवाच ।
जाग्रत्स्वप्नदशाभेदं भगवन्वक्तुमर्हसि ।
कथं च जाग्रज्जाग्रत्स्यात्स्वप्नो जाग्रद्भमः कथम् ॥ ८ ॥

śrīrāma uvāca |
jāgratsvapnadaśābhedaṃ bhagavanvaktumarhasi |
kathaṃ ca jāgrajjāgratsyātsvapno jāgradbhamaḥ katham || 8 ||

Rama said:—Please sir, tell me the difference of the states of waking and dreaming, and what are the states of waking watchfulness, waking dream and waking delusion.
