The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.18.34

द्रष्टा सर्वात्मको दृश्ये स्थितश्चेत्कैव द्रष्टृता ।
सर्वशक्तिमता राज्ञा यद्यत्संपद्यते यथा ॥ ३४ ॥

draṣṭā sarvātmako dṛśye sthitaścetkaiva draṣṭṛtā |
sarvaśaktimatā rājñā yadyatsaṃpadyate yathā || 34 ||

As the sweet saccharine juice of the sugarcane, thickens itself into the form of the sugarcandy; so the will of God, becomes compact in the solid body of the universe.
