The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बीजस्याङ्कुरपत्रादि स्वं चमत्कुरुते यथा ।
सर्वेषां भूतसङ्घानां भ्रमखण्डास्तथैव हि ॥ ६ ॥

bījasyāṅkurapatrādi svaṃ camatkurute yathā |
sarveṣāṃ bhūtasaṅghānāṃ bhramakhaṇḍāstathaiva hi || 6 ||

As the serum contained in the seed, developes itself in the shoots and leaves; so the mind evolves in all the forms which are contained therein.
