The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मनोनिर्मलसत्त्वात्म यद्भावयति यादृशम् ।
तत्तथाशु भवत्येव यथावर्तो भवेत्पयः ॥ ४ ॥

manonirmalasattvātma yadbhāvayati yādṛśam |
tattathāśu bhavatyeva yathāvarto bhavetpayaḥ || 4 ||

Whatever the man of a pure and contrite spirit, thinks in his mind, the same comes to take place immediately;as the turning of the sea water turns into the eddy.
