The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पुरोऽभिवादयामास पितरं पावनाकृतिम् ।
प्रथमोल्लासितो मेघः स्तनितेनेव पर्वतम् ॥ १५ ॥

puro'bhivādayāmāsa pitaraṃ pāvanākṛtim |
prathamollāsito meghaḥ staniteneva parvatam || 15 ||

He bowed down to his father, standing in his holy figure before him; as the rising cloud clings to, and kisses the foot of the lofty mountain.
