The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बहिर्लोकोचिताचारस्त्वन्तराचारवर्जितः ।
समो ह्यतीव तिष्ठ त्वं संशान्तसकलैषणः ॥ ४४ ॥

bahirlokocitācārastvantarācāravarjitaḥ |
samo hyatīva tiṣṭha tvaṃ saṃśāntasakalaiṣaṇaḥ || 44 ||

Therefore conform thyself with the custom of the society in thy outward conduct; but remain indifferent to all worldly concerns in thy inward mind.
