The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मत्तनुः परिशुष्केयं स्थितोत्तानाचलोपले ।
वैराग्यं नयतीवात्मतुच्छत्वेनान्तरं सताम् ॥ १७ ॥

mattanuḥ pariśuṣkeyaṃ sthitottānācalopale |
vairāgyaṃ nayatīvātmatucchatvenāntaraṃ satām || 17 ||

This dried body of mine, lying flat on the mountain stone, resembles the mind of the wise, abased at the sense of its own unworthiness.
