The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पीतमामोदि मन्दारकेसरारुणितं पयः ।
मन्दाकिन्याः सकह्लारं तटीष्वमरभूभृतः ॥ ४० ॥

pītamāmodi mandārakesarāruṇitaṃ payaḥ |
mandākinyāḥ sakahlāraṃ taṭīṣvamarabhūbhṛtaḥ || 40 ||

I drank the water reddened with the pollen of mandara flowers, and roved along the bank of the heavenly stream of Mandakini filled with lotuses.
