The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिन्तयन्तमिवानन्ताश्चिरभुक्ताऽचिरोज्झिताः ।
संसारसागरगतीर्हर्षशोकनिरन्तराः ॥ १७ ॥

cintayantamivānantāścirabhuktā'cirojjhitāḥ |
saṃsārasāgaragatīrharṣaśokanirantarāḥ || 17 ||

He thought upon the course of the currents of the world, which are continually gliding with successive joy and sorrow to man, who gets rid of them after his long trial.
