The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कृताजस्रपतत्पुष्पधारासारनिमज्जनान् ।
तालोत्तालकृतोद्धस्तहस्तान्हस्तिघटापतीन् ॥ ५ ॥

kṛtājasrapatatpuṣpadhārāsāranimajjanān |
tālottālakṛtoddhastahastānhastighaṭāpatīn || 5 ||

They saw the lords of the elephantine tribe, with their big trunks as large as the palm trees, and plunging in the lakes covered with flowers, falling incessantly from the beachening boughs, and branches of flowering trees.
