The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तौ शैलादवरोहन्तौ दृष्टवन्तौ महाद्युती ।
नवहैमलताजालकुञ्जसुप्तनभश्चरान् ॥ २ ॥

tau śailādavarohantau dṛṣṭavantau mahādyutī |
navahaimalatājālakuñjasuptanabhaścarān || 2 ||

They beheld upon their descending from the mountain, a great light below; proceeding from the bodies of the celestials, sleeping in the arbours of aureate creepers.
