The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.11.61

या शक्तिरुदिता शीघ्रं याति तन्मयतामजः ।
य एवर्तुः स्थितिं यातस्तन्मयो भवति द्रुमः ॥ ६१ ॥

yā śaktiruditā śīghraṃ yāti tanmayatāmajaḥ |
ya evartuḥ sthitiṃ yātastanmayo bhavati drumaḥ || 61 ||

The newly obtained power is assimilated with its recipient, as the virtue of every season is manifested in its effect upon the trees.
