The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.11.17

त्वयेदानीमहं देव स्मारितस्तनयेहितम् ।
समङ्गायास्तटे तेन दृष्टोऽयं तनयो मया ॥ १७ ॥

tvayedānīmahaṃ deva smāritastanayehitam |
samaṅgāyāstaṭe tena dṛṣṭo'yaṃ tanayo mayā || 17 ||

I am now made to be acquainted by thee, regarding the thoughts of my son; and am enabled also to see the whole scene on the bank of Samanga.
