The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्वमेव देव जानासि त्वदभ्यन्तरवर्ति यत् ।
रूपमस्या मनोवृत्तेरिन्द्रजालविधायकम् ॥ १० ॥

tvameva deva jānāsi tvadabhyantaravarti yat |
rūpamasyā manovṛtterindrajālavidhāyakam || 10 ||

It is thou, O potent god! that knowest what is inside this world; while to us it presents its outward figure, in the shape of a magic scene only.
