The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.10.27

संसारावलयो ग्रस्ता निगीर्णा रुद्रकोटयः ।
भुक्तानि विष्णुवृन्दानि क्व न शक्ता वयं मुने ॥ २७ ॥

saṃsārāvalayo grastā nigīrṇā rudrakoṭayaḥ |
bhuktāni viṣṇuvṛndāni kva na śaktā vayaṃ mune || 27 ||

We have destroyed the spheres of the universe and devoured legions of Rudras, millions of Brahmas and myriads of Vishnus (in the repeated revolutions of creation); what is it therefore that we cannot do?
