The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.10.11

जङ्घोरुजानुदोर्दण्डैर्द्विगुणां दीर्घतां गतैः ।
प्रतिष्ठानमिवाशान्तं दीर्घाध्वश्रमभीतितः ॥ ११ ॥

jaṅghorujānudordaṇḍairdviguṇāṃ dīrghatāṃ gataiḥ |
pratiṣṭhānamivāśāntaṃ dīrghādhvaśramabhītitaḥ || 11 ||

The two legs, thighs, knees and the two arms (forming the eight angas or members of the body), had been doubled in their length (for their long etherial course); and lay slackened with fatigue of the long journey.
