The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

नेत्रगर्तकसंसक्तप्रसूतनवकीटकम् ।
पर्शुकापञ्जरप्रोतकोशकारकृमिव्रजम् ॥ ५ ॥

netragartakasaṃsaktaprasūtanavakīṭakam |
parśukāpañjaraprotakośakārakṛmivrajam || 5 ||

The sockets of his eyes, were filled with new-born worms grown in them; and the bones of his ribs had become as bars of a cage, with the thin skin over them resembling the spider's web.
