The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चन्द्रकान्त इव ज्योत्स्नां शीतलां खे विलासिनीम् ।
तेनावलोकिता सापि तत्परायणतां गता ॥ ७ ॥

candrakānta iva jyotsnāṃ śītalāṃ khe vilāsinīm |
tenāvalokitā sāpi tatparāyaṇatāṃ gatā || 7 ||

He like the moonstone was soothed by her cooling beauty, beaming as moonlight in the sky; and she also being beheld by him, was entirely subdued by her love to him.
