The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यानीमानि विचित्राणि दुःखानि परिपश्यसि ।
तानि देहस्य सर्वाणि नाग्राह्यस्य चिदात्मनः ॥ ४४ ॥

yānīmāni vicitrāṇi duḥkhāni paripaśyasi |
tāni dehasya sarvāṇi nāgrāhyasya cidātmanaḥ || 44 ||

Whatever miseries you meet with, Rama! in this transient world, all appertain to the body, and not to the intangible soul or intellect.
