The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चित्तं नास्त्येव मे भूतं मृतमेवाद्य वेत्ति वा ।
भव निश्चयवान्भूत्वा शिलापुरुषनिश्चलः ॥ ६५ ॥

cittaṃ nāstyeva me bhūtaṃ mṛtamevādya vetti vā |
bhava niścayavānbhūtvā śilāpuruṣaniścalaḥ || 65 ||

He who understands that there is no such thing as the mind, or that he had one before but it is dead in him to-day; becomes as immovable as a marble statue with this assurance in himself.
