The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.118.28

विवेकिनो नरा लोके चरन्त इति भूमिषु ।
ग्रहायतनतापस्य दृशावेशेषु संस्थिताः ॥ २८ ॥

vivekino narā loke caranta iti bhūmiṣu |
grahāyatanatāpasya dṛśāveśeṣu saṃsthitāḥ || 28 ||

Common people walking upon this earth, know nothing regarding these passengers in the paths of knowledge; but remain as blind as their eyes were dazzled by some planetary light or eclipsed by its shadow.
