The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ऋत्विजश्चाह्वयामास पूजयामास सन्मुनीन् ।
देवानामन्त्रयामास ज्वालयामास पावकम् ॥ ३० ॥
ṛtvijaścāhvayāmāsa pūjayāmāsa sanmunīn |
devānāmantrayāmāsa jvālayāmāsa pāvakam || 30 ||
He called the sacrificial priests, and honoured the holy saints; he invited the gods to it, and kindled the sacrificial fire.
