यदादावेव नास्तीदं तदद्यापि न विद्यते ।
यदिदं भाति तद्ब्रह्म शान्तमेकमनिन्दितम् ॥ ४९ ॥

yadādāveva nāstīdaṃ tadadyāpi na vidyate |
yadidaṃ bhāti tadbrahma śāntamekamaninditam || 49 ||

What did not exist at first, has no existence even now (i. e. material objects);and these that appear as existent, are no other than the quiescent and immaculate essence—Brahma himself.
