The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भावनी सर्वभावानां सर्वभूतविमोहिनी ।
भारिणी स्वात्मनो नाशे स्वात्मवृद्धौ विनाशिनी ॥ ४६ ॥

bhāvanī sarvabhāvānāṃ sarvabhūtavimohinī |
bhāriṇī svātmano nāśe svātmavṛddhau vināśinī || 46 ||

Ignorance is the producer of passions and tempter to all transient objects; it is busy in destroying the knowledge of the soul, and is destroyed by knowledge of the soul only.
