The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तथैवेयमविद्येह भवबन्धनबन्धनी ।
चपला न सुखायैव बालेन कलिता दृढा ॥ २८ ॥

tathaiveyamavidyeha bhavabandhanabandhanī |
capalā na sukhāyaiva bālena kalitā dṛḍhā || 28 ||

So also is the snare spread out by our own ignorance, all over this world, that it ensnares the busy people to their misery in all places, as it binds fast the ignorant men and boys in its chains.
