The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.112.22

या योदेति मनोनाम्नी वासना वासितान्तरा ।
तां तां परिहरेत्प्राज्ञस्ततोऽविद्याक्षयो भवेत् ॥ २२ ॥

yā yodeti manonāmnī vāsanā vāsitāntarā |
tāṃ tāṃ pariharetprājñastato'vidyākṣayo bhavet || 22 ||

Let the wise destroy the desires of their minds, and this will set them free from the bonds of ignorance.
