The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.111.28

इहलोकेन विचरत्विहलोके परत्र च ।
चित्तमामोक्षमास्तेऽस्य रूपमन्यन्न विद्यते ॥ २८ ॥

ihalokena vicaratvihaloke paratra ca |
cittamāmokṣamāste'sya rūpamanyanna vidyate || 28 ||

Whether the mind roves here; or goes to another world with its earthly thoughts, it continues in the same state as before unless it is changed to another form (of purity), by its attainment of liberation.
