The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अङ्कुरस्य यथा पत्रलतापुष्पफलश्रियः ।
मनसोऽस्य तथा जाग्रत्स्वप्नविभ्रमभूमयः ॥ ४६ ॥

aṅkurasya yathā patralatāpuṣpaphalaśriyaḥ |
manaso'sya tathā jāgratsvapnavibhramabhūmayaḥ || 46 ||

As the leaves and branches, flowers and fruits are the products of the shooting seed; so every thing that is seen in our waking dreams, is the creations of our minds.
