The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.106.12

ज्ञस्येव विततं चेतो मूर्खस्येव रुषाऽजवम् ।
अदृष्टजनसंसर्गमजाततृणपल्लवम् ॥ १२ ॥

jñasyeva vitataṃ ceto mūrkhasyeva ruṣā'javam |
adṛṣṭajanasaṃsargamajātatṛṇapallavam || 12 ||

It was as expanded as the mind of a wise man, and as furious as the rage of the ignorant. There was no trace of human feet, nor track with any grass or herb in it.
