The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अप्यभ्यस्तमहाज्ञानं मनस्तिष्ठति देहके ।
कदाचिन्मोहमादत्ते क्षणं मतिमतामपि ॥ २४ ॥

apyabhyastamahājñānaṃ manastiṣṭhati dehake |
kadācinmohamādatte kṣaṇaṃ matimatāmapi || 24 ||

The mind residing in the body, may be fraught with the highest knowledge, and yet the minds of the wisest of men, are liable to errors and illusion.
