The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इति जातानुगीर्णस्य भूपतेः कान्तिराननम् ।
भूषयामास शीतांशुं मासान्त इव पूर्णता ॥ १७ ॥

iti jātānugīrṇasya bhūpateḥ kāntirānanam |
bhūṣayāmāsa śītāṃśuṃ māsānta iva pūrṇatā || 17 ||

Thus consoled by his companions, the countenance of the king resumed its colour; as the face of the full moon collects its brightness, in the bright fortnight of the month.
