The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.105.1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
मुहूर्तद्वितयेनाथ बोधमाप महीपतिः ।
प्रावृषेण्याम्बुनिर्मुक्तमम्भोरुहमिवोत्तमम् ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
muhūrtadvitayenātha bodhamāpa mahīpatiḥ |
prāvṛṣeṇyāmbunirmuktamambhoruhamivottamam || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—After a couple of hours the king returned to his senses, like the lotus flower resuming its beauty, after the mists of the rainy weather are over.
