The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकपिङ्गशिलाश्रेणीशालिकेदारपिङ्गलः ।
नीलकण्ठारवोद्दामवनजङ्गलमण्डितः ॥ ६ ॥

ekapiṅgaśilāśreṇīśālikedārapiṅgalaḥ |
nīlakaṇṭhāravoddāmavanajaṅgalamaṇḍitaḥ || 6 ||

There was a range of tawny rocks on one side, and fields brown with ripened corn on another; while the warbling of cerulean doves—reechoed in the resonant groves about.
