The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिच्छक्तिर्ब्रह्मणो राम शरीरेष्वभिदृश्यते ।
स्पन्दशक्तिश्च वातेषु जडशक्तिस्तथोपले ॥ ७ ॥

cicchaktirbrahmaṇo rāma śarīreṣvabhidṛśyate |
spandaśaktiśca vāteṣu jaḍaśaktistathopale || 7 ||

Observe Rama, how the intellectual powers are distributed in all animated bodies (in their due proportion); and how his moving force is spread in the air, and his immobility rests in the rocks and stones.
