The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अप्रबुद्धदृशां पक्षे तत्प्रबोधाय केवलम् ।
वाच्यवाचकसंबन्धकृतो भेदः प्रकल्प्यते ॥ ४ ॥

aprabuddhadṛśāṃ pakṣe tatprabodhāya kevalam |
vācyavācakasaṃbandhakṛto bhedaḥ prakalpyate || 4 ||

It is requisite for the instruction of the unlearned, to acquaint them of the relation between the significant words and their significations.
