The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अङ्गैर्विशीर्णतामेत्य ययावलमलक्ष्यताम् ।
विचार्य नियतेः शक्तिं ततो गन्तुमुपस्थितः ॥ ३३ ॥

aṅgairviśīrṇatāmetya yayāvalamalakṣyatām |
vicārya niyateḥ śaktiṃ tato gantumupasthitaḥ || 33 ||

Finding at last his body and limbs decaying in their strength, he thought upon the power of destiny, and the state of human lot, and was prepared to depart.
